Craft
Every pattern is cut and graded in-house, then sampled three times before it ever reaches the shop. If a seam does not sit right, it does not ship.
Our story
In 2019 we could not find a plain oxford shirt in Accra that fit properly, felt good, and did not fall apart after a season. So we made one. We drafted the pattern on a kitchen table, rented time on a machine in Osu, and sold the first forty to friends.
Seven years later the studio is bigger and the machine is ours, but nothing else about the approach has changed. We still add pieces slowly. We still throw out samples that are nearly right. And we still know the name of everyone who touches a garment before it reaches you.
Fashy Collections is not trying to be a fast-moving fashion label. We would rather sell you one jacket you wear for a decade than ten you forget about.
What we stand on
Every pattern is cut and graded in-house, then sampled three times before it ever reaches the shop. If a seam does not sit right, it does not ship.
We work with a team of forty artisans across Accra and Kumasi, on long-term contracts and fair rates — not per-order piecework.
Deadstock and certified cotton wherever we can source it, packaging you can compost, and a repair service that keeps pieces out of landfill.
Come and see us
The shop and the workroom share a building on Oxford Street. You can watch pieces being finished from the fitting area — and if something needs taking in, we will usually do it while you wait.
